How to Safely Remove and Install a Brake Caliper on Ford E-250?

To service the brake caliper of E-250 and E-350, loosen wheel, caliper pin bolts and brake hose flow bolt dismounting copper washers. The caliper must be removed with great care, and upon replacing, new washers should be used. Follow the steps backwards, bleed the system and work with brake fluid carefully not to get damaged.

How to remove and replace the brake caliper on Ford E-250?

It requires clean brake fluid to replace the brake caliper, and take off the wheel. Change out old washers, tighten flow bolt to 40 Nm, and take out caliper assembly. Tighten anchor plate bolts up to 225 Nm and guide pin bolts up to 61 Nm. Bleed caliper and do not spill fluid.
