The service process for throttle cable and linkage requires disconnecting the crankcase ventilation hose as the first step. After rotating the throttle lever you should slide the accelerator cable end out of the throttle lever to disconnect it from the bracket. Unfasten the accelerator cable segments first from both the bracket and from the pedal while paying attention to the cable housing. Installation can be finalized after removing the accelerator cable which follows the opposite removal steps.
