  Service personnel should apply Refrigerant Compressor Oil F73Z-19577-AA (Motorcraft YN-9-A) to lubricate R-134a refrigerant system O-ring seals yet refrain from using it as A/C compressor lubrication. The A/C compressor requires lubrication from PAG Refrigerant Compressor Oil (R-134a Systems) F7AZ-19589-DA (Motorcraft YN-12-C) or another product compatible with Ford specification WSH-M1C231-B. Perform a leak test on the A/C condenser core before conducting its removal when leakage is suspected. First recover the refrigerant and afterwards remove the nine pin-type retainers in addition to the sight shield and finally detach the air deflector.
