How to Service and Repair the TorqShift Transmission Pan, Gasket, and Filter on Ford Excursion?

In order to service the Torqshift transmission, lift up the car in neutral, empty the fluid, and take out the pan, gasket and filter. Closely pull off the filter seal, examine the bore and put in a new filter and seal. Reattach the pan, add 7.0 liters of fluid and check the level. Use specified fluid only.
