To change the brake caliper, brake fluid should be clean and used according to the manufacturer specifications. Take off the wheel, pull out the brake hose and screw the new one tight to 40 Nm. Take off the caliper and pads, and examine them. Install guide pin threads without lubrication and bleed caliper to complete.

How to service and repair a brake caliper on Ford Expedition?

In order to service the brake caliper, take them out and empty the brake fluid. Pull the pistons out at low air pressure, throwing away seals and boots. Do not honed cylinder bores, renew the caliper. Insert new seals and lubricate with High Performance DOT 3 Brake Fluid and then install again. Install the caliper.
