  Q: How to service and repair the power steering pump on Ford Expedition?

  A: Start the power steering pump servicing procedure by preparing the vehicle to remove it. The first step involves removing the fan together with the shroud before moving on to the Drive Belt. Begin by removing the three bolts which will enable you to position the power steering pump reservoir to the side. The Power Steering Reservoir pump hose requires disconnecting alongside supply line draining and pressure hose removal to drain the system. Unfasten the nuts then the belt deflector before you remove two bolts. Complete the disablement of air suspension electrical power by switching off the air suspension control located in the RH kick panel before starting your work. Lift the vehicle into position and remove its skid plate only when equipped by unbolted hardware. Disconnect the electric power steering control valve actuator by removing its electrical connector and unbolt before lowering the vehicle.
