Service and repair of the front fender starts by detaching the grille opening panel reinforcement and the front bumper (17757). Start by removing the front panel of the rocker panel trim or the running board (s) if the vehicle has them and proceed to take off the front wheel with tire. Members of the service team need to detach the front fender apron (16054) by unscrewing the screws and bolts before lower fender to rocker panel bolts go along with spacers. The fender bolt can be accessed through an open front door whereby you should also extract the fender bolt and fender to front fender radiator support brace bolt. For removing the right-hand front fender the speed control servo (9C735) requires movement to another location after bolt removal as well as antenna removal.
