How to Service and Repair a Water Pump on Ford Explorer?

To service the water pump, disassemble the fan shroud, empty the cooling system and disconnect the accessory drive belt. Detach hoses, dehose the water pump and clean up the gasket surfaces. Install the pump, the hoses and the belt again. Lastly, install the fan shroud, refill cooling system and verify leakages.
