The first step consists of removing cooling fan components and accessory drive belt while the coolant pump pulley bolts should be tightened to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.) before reinstalling. The service required for the coolant pump demands hose clamp release on the coolant pump bypass hose along with heater hose and lower radiator hose. After removing the bolts as well as the coolant pump and gasket replace them carefully with a torques value of 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.) for the new gasket.
