How to Service the Suction A/C Accumulator on Ford F-250 Super Duty?

Service suction accumulator, recover refrigerant, disconnect A/C switch and remove fender splash shield. Unplug outlet fitting, throwing out seals. Loosen accumulator nuts, and replace with fresh seals. Oil with PAG oil, evacuate, leak test and fill the refrigerant system.

How to Service the A/C Accumulator on Ford F-250 Super Duty?

To service the suction accumulator service, recapture the refrigerant and disconnect the A/C cycling switch. Install a backup wrench on the outlet tube of the evaporator core, and tighten to 49 Nm. disconnect fittings and replace O-rings. Take out the suction accumulator, and then re- install it at 10 Nm. Test and charge the system, evacuate and leak test.
