Start the parking brake service by removing the cable from both left-hand (LH) and right-hand (RH) parking brake bracket assemblies so you can freely rotate the cable away from the parking brake actuating lever. After the two holding clips and the two retaining pins must be removed along with the brake shoe screw and adjusting spring. First remove the outboard brake shoes together with their retracting spring.
