  A: The servicing process for the muffler and tailpipe assembly must be delayed until the exhaust system achieves cool temperatures due to its high operational heat near the Catalytic Converter. The use of oil or grease-based lubricants should be avoided for isolators because this deterioration could result in separation from exhaust hanger brackets when the system operates. First place the vehicle at NEUTRAL position then position it on a hoist and finally support the muffler and tailpipe assembly using a jack stand. After loosening the Torca clamp install fresh fasteners consisting of components bearing original part numbers when reinstalling while tightening the fasteners to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft). Locate the front and rear muffler isolators for inspection while replacing them if deteriorated. The steps begin with removing the resonator isolator connection while taking away the muffler and tailpipe assembly from the vehicle. Reinstall the muffler rear isolator bracket after removing its bolts then securely tighten it to 30 Nm (22 lb-ft). Clean up all connections of the exhaust system before reinstalling parts in the reverse order for placement.
