  A: A hoist-mounted vehicle in neutral position is the first requirement to service the right-hand exhaust manifold. The right-hand Catalytic Converter must be removed first while also disconnecting the HO2S electrical connector. The right-hand exhaust manifold heat shield needs its three bolts removed before installation where each bolt requires tightening to 11 Nm (8 ft. lbs.). Service the EGR system module tube from the exhaust manifold by disconnecting it while installing it with a torque of 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.). After nuts removal from the six mounting points of the right-hand exhaust manifold you must tighten them to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.). The repair requires installing a fresh exhaust manifold gasket and trashing the former one before carrying out the reverse order of removal steps for reinstallation.
