The service requires disconnecting the EVAP canister purge valve electrical connector followed by removing its two vapor tube-to-EVAP canister quick connect couplings. A depress of the retaining tab allows one to unfasten the EVAP canister purge valve from its bracket support. Repeat the opposite steps for installation. A leak test should be conducted on the system following installation while also completing the evaporative emission repair verification drive cycle.
