How to Service the PCV Valve on Ford Five Hundred?

The Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) valve requires service where technicians should remove four bolts from the transaxle roll restrictor brace while wire brushing the bolts before applying threadlock to their threads and tightening them to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft) upon replacement. During assembly the bolt should be joined with the transaxle roll restrictor brace before cleaning each bolt then treating them with threadlock before tightening them to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft). The PCV valve tube requires removal from its valve position along with removing any electrical connector present on the PCV valve. A fresh PCV valve should be installed when the original was removed from the cam cover because any harm to the locking mechanism will arise. You should rotate the PCV valve counterclockwise from its position on the valve cover for removal but perform the opposite steps to reinstall it.
