How to Service the Cigarette Lighter Auxiliary Power Outlet on Ford Flex?

Before servicing the Cigarette Lighter, one needs to disconnect the 12-volt battery. Service on the Cigarette Lighter starts by removing the front console rear trim insert followed by disconnecting the electrical connector. Using your fingers, depress the tabs to remove the Cigarette Lighter. Installation of the new unit should follow the steps in reverse order to the removal process.
