How to service and repair the throttle body on Ford Flex?

A technician should start throttle body servicing and repair efforts by taking off the air cleaner outlet pipe. Detach the electronic throttle control electrical connector first then remove the four bolts which secure the throttle body. The gasket of the throttle body must be discarded so you should install a fresh gasket during reassembly. Proceed with installation by torquing the bolts to 10 Nm (89 lb-in) then follow the reverse steps of removal to finish the process.
