Unhook parking brake; lift vehicle, in neutral. In the case of ABS, looseness of rear wheel speed sensor bolt; re-attach to 9 Nm (80 in-lb). Unscrew four spindle bolts; unscrew brake drum and spindle assembly; screw-in to 70 Nm (52 ft-lb). Make sure of clean mating surfaces. Before a new drum is installed, remove hub.

Loose wheel/tire, discard dust cap and power tools off hub nut to be avoided. In case inner race is segregated substitute bearing. Discard nut; remove drum. Fit new nut onto drum/hub; turn CCW, screw to 235 Nm (173 lb-ft). Clean sensor ring, no magnets/impacts, replace dust cap, replace tire/wheel.
