How to service the alternator on Ford Fusion?

In order to service the alternator, de-terminal the battery and take out the A/C compressor. Put aside the cover to the generator and the B+ terminal. Unhook the electrical connector and take out three bolts. Installation To install the generator, screw the B + connector on 12 Nm and the generator bolts on 47 Nm and reverse the unscrewing steps.

How to service and repair the alternator on Ford Fusion?

To maintain the alternator, the battery is disconnected, the generator air duct is removed and the FEAD belt should be positioned. Unscrew the generator, unplug electric connector and cut the generator harness. Installation To install, follow the steps in reverse and it is necessary to tighten the components to the desired torque.
