How to service the heater core on Ford Fusion?

A pressure leak test of the heater core should take place first when leak detection is necessary. You need to begin by taking away both heater core and evaporator core housing. The wire harness needs detachment before the heater core cover removal process and the subsequent removal of eight screws securing it. The first step is to remove the dash panel seal before extracting the heater core from its tubes after the cover has been taken off. Installation of the new heater core follows the opposite sequence used for removal.
