How to service the brake light switch on Ford Ranger?

The Brake Pedal Position (BPP) switch connector needs to be removed as the first step to service the brake light switch. Begin by unfastening the self-locking pin then the spacer and finally the Brake Pedal Position (BPP) switch from its position. To finish the work follow the uninstallation process in reverse order.
