How to Service and Repair the Neutral Safety Switch for the 5R44E and 5R55E on Ford Ranger?

To service the Transmission Position Switch/Sensor of the 5R44E and 5R55E models position the vehicle in neutral, unplug the connector of the selector lever and the tr sensor and remove the manual control lever. Install tr sensor flush, screw alternately until 10 Nm are reached, reconnect components, with appropriate adjustments.
