The 2.3L engine vehicles require draining the cooling system, disconnection of the manual transmission shifter (where present), and the coolant bypass hose to service the coolant bypass hose. Take off the rear driveshaft,catalytic converter, and exhaust manifold bolts. Help the transmission, unscrew the electrical connector and decrease it to reach inside the hose.
