How to service and repair the sunroof Air Deflector on Ford Taurus?

Before service or repair of the sunroof or moonroof windguard you must first expand the roof opening panel to get to the air deflector that snaps onto four fixation points. Insert a flat-blade screwdriver at the rear left-hand and right-hand attaching brackets of the air deflector until the snap features release and follow the same steps at the front left-hand and right-hand attaching brackets. Place the air deflector in position using the opposite method of removal.
