A service and repair operation on the lower intake manifold starts with draining engine coolant then disconnecting the fuel tube spring lock coupling. Start the service by disconnecting and moving the upper intake manifold and then the left-hand and right-hand valve covers. The service process requires discretion of FRP sensor vacuum connections alongside electrical interfaces and fuel injector electrical connectors. In the first step remove the fuel injection supply manifold together with fuel injectors as an assembly followed by disconnecting the heater hose and separating the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sender's electrical connector and ECT sensor's electrical connector and degas bottle hose.
