How to Properly Handle a Door Lock Cylinder Issue on a Lincoln Town Car?

To replace the door lock cylinder, the front door trim panel and handle may be removed. Disassemble the faulty cylinder, and then install a lock repair package to assemble a new cylinder with the same key code. Take off the retainer, the E-clip and the actuating lever and repeat the procedure using the reverse order.
