How to service and repair the A/C Switch in the climate control assembly on Lincoln LS?

The service process for the climate control assembly requires first disassembling the center instrument panel register then removing the lower center finish panel. Remove the switch panel by taking out its two screws. Disconnection of the power point electrical connector should begin before screwing out the four audio unit screws and detaching the climate control assembly electrical connector. The antenna cable needs to be detached from the audio unit before you remove the four screws which hold the climate control assembly in place. The last step will be to uninstall the climate control assembly. Installation of the new assembly requires the same reverse order of steps used for dismantling.
