To install the rear tether cord anchor for Expedition/Navigator vehicles use bolts to secure it at the D-pillar and tighten it to 9 Nm (80 lb-in). Then attach the pin-type retainer to the rear tether cord routing clip. The process concludes with front bolts installation followed by 9 Nm (80 lb-in) tightening then front tether cord pin-type retaining components and subsequent installation of the front tether cord bracket and front tether cord bolt secured at 6 Nm (53 lb-in).
