How to Service and Repair the Neutral Safety Switch for the 4R70E/4R75E Transmission on Lincoln Town Car?

To fix the Transmission Position Switch/Sensor on the 4R70E/4R75E, lift the car, loosen the connector of the selection lever cable and TR sensor connector, take out the TR sensor. Install it again with appropriate alignment with the TR Sensor Alignment Gauge and screw bolts in an alternate order to 9 Nm. Lastly, reconnect the cables.
