The brake pedal position (BPP) switch has components, which must be removed in sequence to service it. Only one adjustment is allowed during installation, beyond that, one will have to change the switch. Open by turning the knob anti-clockwise to the stop. As engine is running, press on brake fully, attach the switch, release in a slow manner, and afterwards, remove the switch.

To remove the switch, rotate it 45 clockwise. To install, do not touch the brake pedal assembly, turn the switch 45 degrees counterclockwise, and re-connect electrical connector.
