In order to service the drive/propeller shaft, lift the vehicle and index-mark the rear axle pinion flange and driveshaft yoke. Take the bolts out, without breaking them. Reduce the driveshaft, index mark the slip-yoke and plug the extension housing. Install fresh bolts making sure they get rightly aligned and lubricated. Undo the process of removal to complete.
