Unless the Fuel Pump Driver Module is replaced, unplug the battery ground cable in order to service it. In the case of the Five Hundred, take away the cushion and backrest of the rear seat, in the case of the Freestyle, take away the C-pillar trim. During installation disconnect the FPDM connector, loosen the securing nuts and tighten the new FPDM nuts to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).
