How to Service and Repair the Accelerator Cable and Linkage on Mercury Grand Marquis?

To service throttle cable, take off throttle control spring and engine cover in front. Unite the throttle body and bracket accelerator cable with the pedal and detach the throttle component. Unscrew the cable retainer and grommet and take the cable through the dash. To install, undo the steps.

How to Service the Accelerator Cable and Linkage on Mercury Marauder?

In order to service throttle cable, loosen the bolts of accelerator splash shield, disconnect accelerator and speed control cables. Unscrew the accelerator cable out of the bracket and pedal, same in the case of memory pedals. Lastly, take the cable retainer out and pull the cable across the dash panel. Installation instructions are reversed.
