How to Service the Throttle Position Sensor on Mercury Mariner?

In order to service throttle position (TP) sensor, begin by removing electrical connector. Thereafter, pull out the TP sensor by removing the two screws. To safely re-install, screws should be retightened to 10 Nm (89 lb-in) and to complete the installation process, the steps followed in the removal procedure must be followed in the reverse sequence.
