    Start servicing or repairing the lower intake manifold by taking out the coolant bypass tube along with the fuel injection supply manifold and then discarding both heater hoses connected to the lower intake manifold. First detach the upper radiator hose after releasing its clamp then uninstall the IMRC electrical connector. Keep track of the locations where eight short bolts and six long bolts are attached before disassembling their hardware and finally taking off the lower intake manifold. Discard the gaskets from both right and left-hand lower intake manifold together with the front and rear lower intake manifold seals. After treating all gasket areas with metal surface cleaner users should deploy new front and rear seals while applying silicone gasket and sealant to mounting points. You need to install the intake manifold gaskets after applying sealant to them but before positioning the lower intake manifold within four minutes. Place silicone gasket and sealant onto lower intake manifold mounting points before positioning the part into place while installing the six long bolts and then finishing with the eight short bolts.
