How to service and repair the power antenna on Mercury Sable?

To replace the power antenna, take off the audio unit, then the mast nut and stanchion, interior nut and bolt. Fold down back of quarter panel with the antenna. Removal of the assembly involves disconnection of pin-type lead-in retainer, electrical connector and lead-in cable. Install by reversing steps.
