The same torque tightening method should be applied when fastening the new lower nut after removing and discarding the initial one. During sway bar link installation, secure the ball joints with the hex-holding feature to prevent them from rotating before tightening the nuts using a socket with a torque wrench and performing the opposite removal steps.

Use the hex-holding feature twice to avoid moving ball joints after you remove the sway bar link because this ensures correct installation by maximizing nuts then completing tightening with a torque wrench. The maintenance of suspension system integrity depends on using replacement parts that contain both the same number and level of quality.
