To repair the defrost door mode actuator, start by lowering the glove compartment. Disconnect the electrical connector from the actuator, then remove the two screws holding it in place and take out the actuator. To install the new actuator, simply reverse the steps taken during removal.

In order to service the temperature blend door actuator, disassemble passenger air bag module, defroster grill, and right-hand demister hose. In cars having anti-theft / keyless entry systems, pull out the module. Next, take actuator out with right-hand defroser nozzle. Installation of the new actuator follows the reverse procedure.
