  • Q: How to service a non-functional Ignition Lock Cylinder on 2003 Ford E-250?
    A: Disconnect battery ground and wait for backup power to deplete. Deactivate SRS. Remove steering wheel, twist off cap, drill out retaining pin and key slot until ignition lock cylinder frees. Discard cylinder and shavings; remove retainer, bearing and gear, clean, inspect. Install new cylinder, reverse removal and reactivate SRS.
