Take a twisting action to disconnect the six electrical connectors and take out the ignition coil-on-plugs. Tighten the bolts to 7 Nm, check and replace seals and repeat and apply dielectric grease and reattach.
- Q: How to Service the Camshaft Position Sensor on 2009 Lincoln MKX?A: Removal of the Air Cleaner outlet pipe on the right sensor and ACL assembly on the left to service the Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor. Unscrew the connector attached to the CMP and take out the securing bolt inserting the new sensor, screwing the bolt in to 10 Nm, lubricating the O-ring with clean engine oil.
