Lower the vehicle after disconnecting the peanut fitting and removing its nut. Disconnect the air outlet tube from the A/C accumulator and then separate the nut and bolt. Set the A/C accumulator to the side of the radiator shroud for disconnection from the manifold. Reinstallation requires the application of PAG Refrigerant Compressor Oil YN-12-C or F7AZ-19589-DA or any equivalent that fulfills Ford WSH-M1C231-B specification to the O-ring seal before performing the opposite removal steps.
