The service begins by raising the vehicle then eliminating the screws from the LH sight shield before using the screws to separate the Air Deflector. Lower the vehicle after disconnecting the peanut fitting and removing its nut. Disconnect the air outlet tube from the A/C accumulator and then separate the nut and bolt. Set the A/C accumulator to the side of the radiator shroud for disconnection from the manifold. Reinstallation requires the application of PAG Refrigerant Compressor Oil YN-12-C or F7AZ-19589-DA or any equivalent that fulfills Ford WSH-M1C231-B specification to the O-ring seal before performing the opposite removal steps.
