  • Q: How to service the heater core on 2000 Lincoln LS?
A: Begin heater core servicing by taking out the evaporator core housing while checking the heater core for leaks during the inspection of your vehicle. You must begin by unscrewing the stabilize mounting the evaporator core housing from the air inlet housing. Moving past the clip allows you to detach the evaporator core housing from the air inlet housing and then remove its gasket. You should proceed by taking out the nine screws then disconnecting the clip before you can separate the evaporator core housing from the air inlet housing.
