How to service the heater core on 2001 Lincoln LS?

To service the heater core, take off the evaporator core housing and perform a leak test, as necessary. Unscrew and clip off the screws and clip on the air inlet. Unplug the bypass door connector, and then take off the heater core and gasket. Installation is in reverse.
