A: Service and core repair of the condenser requires first recovering the refrigerant followed by disconnecting the condenser fittings before discarding the O-ring seals. During reinstallation maintain 18 Nm (13 lb-ft) torque on the fittings. The transmission oil cooler needs two bolts to be removed for positioning it aside but both bolts require 12 Nm (9 lb-ft) torque after reinstallation. Tighten the hood latch bracket to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft) when reinstalling it after setting it aside with the three hood latch bracket bolts. Replace the condenser bracket bolts after removal by securing them at 12 Nm (9 lb-ft). The installation requires following reverse removal steps while using new O-ring seals and proper PAG oil measurement to lubricate the refrigerant system.
