After removing the two exhaust hanger bolts you should tighten them to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft) torque specification during reinstallation. The service on the heat shield requires you to remove two bolts that must be tightened to 20 Nm when reinstalling. Apply a suitable transmission jack for support before taking out the two transmission support nuts while tightening them to 103 Nm (76 lb-ft) during the install process. The next step requires removal of the four transmission support crossmember bolts before tightening them to 115 Nm (85 lb-ft) torque upon reinstallation. To complete the task follow the reverse order of disassembly by reinstalling the transmission support crossmember.
