How to Service the Rear Crossmember on 2005 Ford F-150?

In order to service the rear cross-member, elevate the vehicle and unscrew the two exhaust hanger bolts (tighten to 40 Nm), then the two heat shield bolts (20 Nm). Support the transmission, and then remove the support nuts (103 Nm), crossmember bolts (90 Nm). Undo it by going in reverse.
