2007 Ford Crown Victoria Turn Signal Switch Parts Q&A

  • Q: How to service and repair the turn signal switch on 2007 Ford Crown Victoria?
A: The first step for servicing and repairing the turn signal switch requires disconnecting the battery ground cable. Begin service on the turn signal switch by first removing the tilt release lever/handle. Press the upper steering column shroud sides to release it before you remove the three screws that also detach the upper and lower column shrouds. Reinstall these shrouds correctly at 2 Nm (18 lb-in). First disconnect three electrical connectors from the multi-function switch before removing the two screws securing it and tighten the screws to 3 Nm (27 lb-in) at installation. Execute the installation process by following the reversal of the removal steps.
