First disconnect the parking brake rear cable from the equalizer before taking out the cable end from the brake caliper lever arm. The servicing of the brake caliper bracket requires disconnection of the parking brake cable and conduit before removing the spring pocket wireform bracket bolt. Reinstall this bolt with a torque of 17 Nm (13 ft. lbs). The trailing arm wireform bracket bolt should be removed before installation while its torque should be set to 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs). The body of the cable depends on spring tabs for attachment so uninstall the motor vehicle's parking brake cable while first removing the cable and conduit from the body. The system installation process ends with returning to the original removal sequence.
