In 5.4L 4V engines, to have a chance to service the EGR system module tube, it is necessary to remove the battery tray, unscrew the upper and lower fittings, reinstall the tube, tightening both to 42 Nm (31 lb-ft). In 4.6L 3V engines, fittings should be tightened to 39 Nm (29 lb-ft). Uninstall To install the reverse process.
