The procedure demands first removing all four coolant pump pulley bolts before taking off both the coolant pump pulley and the four bolts. For installation of both components tighten each bolt to achieve 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs). First disconnect and set aside the thermostat housing-to-coolant pump hose as well as the heater hose and the radiator-to-coolant pump hose. Detach the twelve coolant pump bolts from the component followed by the removal of the coolant pump itself while discarding the old gasket. A metal surface cleaner and wooden or plastic scraper should be used to clean both sealing surfaces. Use new coolant pump gasket while tightening its bolts to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).
